On Saturday, October 17, 2015, 11 children - inhabitants of the Zaporozhzhia School of Arts No. 3, in the Khortitsa region, gave wonderful concerts to the inhabitants of two psycho-neurological institutions remote from the regional center - in Kalinovka and Orlovo.
The guys were not afraid of a long journey and not comfortable conditions for performing - in both psycho-neurological institutions they had to perform in canteens, since there are no assembly halls there. Children sang, danced, played guitars and saxophone.
The stern faces of the orphanage inhabitants were transformed, listening to amazingly beautiful musical compositions and rejoicing at the manifestation of children's talents. Many grown men could not hold back their tears. People who are often rejected by society and settled in psycho-neurological institutions experienced unusually joyful moments during the children's concert. I don’t know about others, but personally, at such moments, I am especially clearly aware of the kinship between all people. Despite their illnesses, people in psycho-neurological institutions experience the same feelings as we do, and just as much want to be happy.
Some residents of the Oryol psycho-neurological institution plucked flowers from the flower beds and gave them to children. Children rejoiced because they gave happy moments to not spoiled listeners. After all, the purpose of real art is to give people happiness and awaken the best feelings.
We want to sincerely thank the young participants of the concert, as well as the director of the children's art school No. 3 Andrey Sulaev and the deputy director Oksana Koplenko, and all the teachers of the school.
In order for the trips of children's musical groups to the regional psycho-neurological institutions to continue, we need help in paying for transport - a minibus from 15 seats (on average, one trip costs from $ 27 to $ 55).
Perhaps someone will be able to provide us with their own minibus for transporting young artists. Write to info@deti.zp.ua, call - +3 8 066 513 34 35
