The Urvenskiy psycho-neurological institution is building a new department for wards

March 29, 2023, 18:35 53 rivne1.tv The Deputy Chairman of the Rivne regional Council, Oleksiy Buchynskyi, and the Deputy of the Rivne Regional Council, Oleksandr Gomon, visited the new branch of the "Urvenskogo psycho-neurological institution" in the village of Orlivka, Sarne district.

They inspected the progress of construction works in the new building of the psycho-neurological institution. It is designed for 200 wards. State-of-the-art medical equipment will be installed here to provide specialized psychiatric care. There is also a bomb shelter with an area of 700 m2, in which 7 separate bathrooms and washrooms are to be installed.

"At the moment, there are 176 internally displaced persons in the psycho-neurological institution who need the necessary services. They were evacuated from the Kamyshivsky and Pokrovsky psycho-neurological institutions in the Donetsk region. All of them have disabilities, some of them have intellectual disabilities, others have musculoskeletal disorders, most of them are disabled. After the evacuation, the wards had strong psychological disorders, but the staff was able to skillfully arrange the necessary conditions for adaptation. Therefore, we continue to work hard, provide everything necessary to those in need, and sincerely believe in our future Victory!" - noted Oleksiy Buchynskyi.

After completing the inspection of the construction, Oleksiy Buchynskyi and Oleksandr Gomon visited the "Regional Psychiatric Hospital of the village Orlivka", where they got acquainted with the new shelter, which is in the final stage of reconstruction and should be completed by the end of the current week, treatment departments, clinical and diagnostic laboratory, laundry and economic part of the institution, talked with its employees and wards.
